Chapter 10: Things sure have changed

That morning at Nicktoons Kingdom, Spongebob was sitting on his throne, sighing.   Gary was on the floor next to him watching him.
Spongebob: "O
h Gary, I don't understand how I the king let things get bad."
Gary: "Meow."
Spongebob: "I mean, look at our own show, look at the complaints we got after the movie.  I mean, even I can't stand the show now."
Gary: "Meow."
Spongebob: "In fact, almost all the shows games and movies have gotten bad.  I didn't mean for this to happen."
Gary: "Meow."
Spongebob: "Being king is hard.  I wish I could just give up my position to someone else."
Spongebob got up from his throne and walked through his throne room and out the door.  He walked toward the Hall of Fame, with his head hanging low.  As he approached the hall of fame, he paused and looked at it.  He sighed, walking in.  Inside, were pictures of all the shows from Nickelodeon.  He walked through the hall, in the modern 2000's shows first. Looking at each one of them.  Most of them only had medal of honor.  The only ones with achievement status was Fairly Oddparents, Danny Phantom, Jimmy Neutron, and My Life as a Teenage Robot.  All the others had poor performance and low viewing.  In fact, Some of them had to be cancelled for it, and some were even sent to Rejectia.  Spongebob kept walking down the Hall of fame, to the are of the classic shows.  There were some animated shows from the 80's with Achievement statues, and some from the 90's.  Rocko's Modern Life, Ahh Real Monsters, The Angry Beavers, Ren and Stimpy, and of course Invader Zim had Achievement Status.  he looked at the recognition statue for each character.  Invader Zim, while having a picture of the cast, including Dib and Gaz, they didn't have a statue.  Spongebob wondered why this was.  They both had fans like Zim and Gir, so he wondered why they didn't they get recognition like the other characters?  They both earned it.  Obviously, SOMEONE didn't want them to be recognized.  Especially not Dib.  Continuing down the hall, he saw achievement statues for Hey Arnold, but only a medal of honor for Doug.  Despite of being a somewhat good show, that was all he got due to that fact he moved to Disney.   That was almost what all the shows had, considering most shows of the 2000's were garbage like the X's, My dad's a Rock Star, Fanboy and Chum Chum, Sanjay and Craig, Back at the Barnyard, all the alien shows except Zim like the Brothers Flub, Butt Ugly Martians, and Kaput and Zosky.  They had nothing.  Spongebob kept walking till he got near the end, where it talked about his show.  Other than having the highest achievement status, The picture of him and his cast was the largest one of the hall. Even his own statue was the biggest, followed by slightly smaller statues of the other characters of his cast.  He sighed, considering how bad his show got, wondering of he even deserved it.   He walked out of the room, back to his throne room, and sat back down, looking gloom.  That second, Sandy came in.
Sandy: Spongebob?  You ok?"
Spongebob: "Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine."
Sandy: "Look, I know this network hasn't been doing well, but we already went through with this."
Spongebob: "I know Sandy, but I am king.  I could of done something to prevent it.  But I didn't."
Sandy: "Look Spongebob, I..."
She was cut off when Rocko said something.  He was entering the room.
Rocko: "Your majesty, Heffer wanted to borrow some of your shampoo, if that's ok."
Spongebob: "Huh?  Yeah, that's fine."
Rocko: "Hey, why so glum mate?"
Spongebob: "I'm the king.  I could of done something to prevent the downfall of this Network, but I didn't."
Rocko: "No beating yourself down, mate.  You did the best you could.  Maybe it was just impossible to prevent it."
Spongebob: *Tearing eyed* But I think I COULD, don't you see?  I signed some paper long ago, which I think was a big mistake."
Rocko looked at him with sympathy.  That second, Heffer cam in the room.
Heffer: "Rocko, did the king say I could use his shampoo?"
Rocko: "Yes, Heffer, he said you could."
Heffer: *He put his arms in the air* "Alright! *He looked at Spongebob* Hey, what's the matter?"
Spongebob: "I think it really is my fault the Network went downhill."
Heffer: "Oh."
Spongebob: "Even my OWN show has been bad.  It got alot of complaints since the movie."
Heffer: "Ah, don't feel bad.  Rocko, me and our friends feel the same way since our show was cancelled, we don't have a real job anymore or purpose. *he got teary eyed himself* No purpose."
He cried harder.
Rocko: *Patting him on the back* "Heffer, it's ok."
Sandy: "Spongebob, you have to pull yourself together.  Your not going to get anywhere sulking.  We're going to set things straight, once we get a hold of those Nicktoon villains.    
Spongebob stopped crying a smiled a little.
Spongebob: "You're right, Sandy.  I can't just stand around being all depressed.  I have to do something about it!"
Sandy: "That's the spirit, Spongebob."
Spongebob: "We're all in this together, right guys?
Rocko and Heffer: "Right."

 Gaz: "Fan boy and Chum and Sanjay and Craig have got to be the worst shows Nickelodeon has!  They hardly have any plot, and the toilet humor  is way overdone!"
Zim, his cast, Calvin, and Hobbes were on the ship, heading to Feature Film Acres.  There were empty soda cans, and a trash can of empty chip bags and candy wrappers.  It's been a long trip, and there were only 2 more stops to go before they had to go to Nicktoons Kingdom.
Dib: "I agree, but what about the X's?  Or my dad's a Rock Star?  Or Back at the Barnyard? they're basically plot less as well."
Calvin: "And there's the newer episodes of Spongebob.  The old episodes were great, But the new ones are left to be desired. Episodes like House Fancy and the Splinter have very disgusting scenes."
Dib: "I agree.  And I know our show can get gross sometimes, but it's nothing like THOSE!"
Hobbes: "But you have to admit, some episodes of season 9 have improved some."
Gir: "I like some of the season 9 episodes, and the older episodes.  And I like that show with Jenny.  She cute."
Zim: "You actually LIKE that robot?"
Gir: "I do."
Zim: "Well, I hate every alien show on Nick that's not mine.  Unlike mine, they hardly had any plot.  The only one with some plot was the one with the martians, and they're like a parallel universe of my show."
Hobbes: "Looks like we're here."
they pulled in Feature Animated Film Acres by the main building which a sign that said House of famous animated movies. Come on in.  After they landed in a wide opened space, the hopped off, and approached the building.  They slowly opened the door, and walked in, closing the door behind them after they went in.  The looked around, going into the first room, which said dream works movies, which had honorable achievements of Dreamworks Movies including Horton Hears A Who.  Then they went to the section of Disney movies, from the past till Now, including Pixar.  Then they looked at one of the latest, Wreak It Ralph, with golden statues of the 4 main characters, Ralph, Felix, Vanellope, and Calhoun, and a picture of the entire cast, talking about the movie itself, and how it's on of the best Disney movies of the 2000's next to the Lilo and Stitch movies.
Calvin: "I'm glad Wreak it Ralph has one of the best recognitions here. Last I heard, it was 'Brave' that won the Oscars.  I really don't like Brave."
Gretchen: "I agree.  And I don't think Brave is that bad of a movie, but Wreak it Ralph is much better.  And I don't like how they portrayed the men as slobs."
They continued down the hall till they made it to the last room, which looked like the refreshment room.  In the room, where some movie characters, including Ralph and his friends, sitting, eating and talking.  Calvin, Hobbes, Zim, Dib, Gaz, Gretchen, and the robots entered in.
Vanellope: *To Ralph* "Are those guys new Comers, or are are they just visiting?"
Ralph: "Not sure."
Calvin: *Walking up to them* "Just visiting."
Ralph: "How did you guys like the hall of fame?"
Calvin: "Great.  We saw your picture. You guys Rock."
Ralph: "Oh, why thank you."
Calvin: "You guys should of gotten the Oscars."
Ralph: *Bitterly* "Yeah, I wish. But they gave it to Brave."
Vanellope: "Ah, Brave wasn't as good as the other Pixar movies.  We should of of Gotten the Oscars."
Hobbes: "If not ParaNorman."
Felix: "So, where are you guys from?"
Calvin: "I'm Calvin, and this is my best friend, Hobbes" *Pointing at Hobbes.*  We're from the Comic strip, Calvin and Hobbes.  Well, we used to have a strip, but our creator retired.  We're from Comic Country."
Vanellope: *Turning to Zim's cast* "And you guys?"
Zim; "We're from the show, Invader Zim.  From Nicktoons Kingdom."
Vanellope: "You mean that Network alot people been complaining about?  Yeah, sounds like a great place."
Zim: "Nickelodeon USED to be good.  But since the early 2000's and after the cancellation of my show, it now stinks worse than a cesspool full of dead skunks."
Vanellope: *Laughing* "You got that right."
Everyone laughed.
Hobbes: *Continuing to laugh, but stopped, and coughed*.  "Lets cuts to the chase.   The reason we're here is because we needed to warn you guys that the Nicktoon villains are going around Toontopia stealing diamonds."
Everyone in the room paused when they heard this and looked up at Hobbes.
Calhoun: "What!?  They're going around stealing diamonds?  Why?"
Calvin: "They want to take over Toontopia."
Calhoun: "Is that so?"
Hobbes: "Yep."
Ralph: "This is Awful.  What will we do?"
Calhoun: "we'll have to keep a look out for them, that's what."
Felix: "Wow, thanks for the warning, guys."
Dib: "Just be careful.  We already warned a couple of other areas, and one of those diamonds were already stolen right under their noses despite of already been warned."
Calhoun: "And what about all the diamonds that already have been stolen?"
Gaz: "Were already on it.  We'll be going to Nicktoons Kingdom to get them back."
Calhoun: "Well, Ok.  But here *She pulls out some paper and writes something down,*  Just give us a call if you need us."
She hands it to Zim.
Calvin: "You got it."

 A bit later, Zim's cast, Calvin, and Hobbes were back on the ship with the heroes of Feature Animated Film Acres waving good bye to them as the ship blasted off.  Little did they know, from a distance, were some dark figures peeking in.
